How to Turn off Autoplay in Windows 7

Follow the steps below to turn off Autoplay option in Windows 7 ,

1. Go to Start 
             => Run .

2. type gpedit.msc and click ok

3. A window of Local Group Policy Editor will open .
Go to Local Computer Policy
             =>computer configuration
                   => administrative template
                         => windows components
                                 => Autoplay Policy

4. On the right side , you will find a setting called "Turn off Autoplay" .
    Double click on it.
       Choose Enable round checkbox and below it ,
         choose All drives under Option menu and
           click ok to finish.

Done.
